mates magazine is a non-profit publication which editorially supports and showcases emerging creatives of all mediums and backgrounds to the industry. We see mates as more than just a curated edit - but as a catalogue of fresh faces which industry contacts can proactively engage with.

The inaugural issue of mates brings together 50 emerging creatives; Photographers from Accra, nail artists from Hong Kong, dub musicians from Bristol, fine art painters from Brighton, and young creatives from Kuala Lumpur. Curated profiles, interviews, personal stories and imagery dominate the 200+ pages of the issue with one simple goal: to showcase emerging creatives to the industry.
